A COVID-19 note from Naja Hall+ Team B&B
HOW CAN WE BEST SERVE YOU DURING THIS TIME?
A week ago none of us used the term social distancing, but this is our current reality. COVID-19 is taking its toll on our nation, our families, and our individual lives and I’d like to do my part to make this season a little less stressful for you.
I’ve heard from many of you and I am aware that you are self-isolating, working from home, learning to homeschool your kids, and just trying to stay afloat during your downtime.
Blended families are NOT like traditional families so some of us are not able to bunker down and have ALL of our kids under the same roof. I know you are more worried than you’re letting on. I know you feel anxious because you feel powerless. I am aware that you feel anxious over the future. While no one knows what’s going to happen next, please remember that we are all better together than apart.
The fear of the pandemic is causing the world to come to a halt.
NOT SO FUN FACT: Since February 24, over 300 couples have filed for divorce in Dazhou, Sichuan Province (China), according to the local marriage registry manager. China has already seen the worst of the pandemic and the United States & Canada are roughly 2 weeks behind. The mandatory quarantine has really made some couples reanalyze their relationships.
As a reminder, be kind to one another. Exhibit more understanding and compassion. Also, be mindful that some people may not respect the boundaries of the self quarantine because they may not take this pandemic seriously. This is our opportunity to step up for ourselves, our families, and our community.
Feel free to respond to this email if you have any questions, concerns or if you just need to talk.
