What happens when you find out your Husband is cheating? Well this week’s guest, Sassi, took it upon herself to seek out the mistress, post her picture and phone number on Craigslist!
This week’s podcast was informative, funny, heartbreaking and then funny again! This week’s guest, Blended and Black member, Sassi joined the podcast. After a year-long separation from her Husband, Sassi and her Husband decided to reconcile. This was their 2nd attempt at saving their marriage, so it was all or nothing. When things were looking up, Sassi discovered that her Husband had a girlfriend! Sassi shares her story of redemption, revenge and regret!
One of the group’s most vocal Lawyers, Joleena Pickett ,gave all of us this free bit of legal advice! Just a PSA to everyone: No matter how mad you get, never post naked or partially naked pics of anyone else online. The majority of states now have revenge porn laws and you don’t want those charges.
There are SO many teaching moments and quotables from Sassi’s interview! Her transparency and candor was refreshing. She is a real woman, a working mom and a faithful woman and she pours out her pain for us.
My pain often came before the needs of my kids. I was on a war path of destruction, and no one was immune!
Sassi gave a very REAL dose of what she endured. She took responsibility for her actions and surprisingly did not completely fault her ex- Husband for ruining the marriage.
I just wanted to hurt him the way he hurt me. After talking to my Dad one day, I realized that the vengeance I was trying to throw at my Husband was only hurting me and my kids.
When I asked Sassi why she went after the mistress as opposed to the person she had vows with, she admitted that her actions at the time were unreasonable and strictly because of pain.
Why does he gets to party and travel and have a girlfriend and I’m home depressed, taking care of our children alone!?
