Danisha L. Baughan is a long term educator, community activist, and philanthropist. Born and raised in Harlem, NYC Danisha also gives back to her community as a school counselor and college advisor in district 5 public high schools. Mother of 2 children, Danisha enjoys writing during her spare time and has also directed and produced a culturally gender based documentary on dating in today’s society. Danisha serves on the board of the NAACP as committee chair of the NAACP ACT SO program, active member and Co-founder of the G.I.R.L.friends organization who are also partners of the Take Care of Harlem organization. Danisha’s primary goals are women’s empowerment and social reconstruction for minorities. Educate and Advocate!
